During vintage, I was commissioned by American magazine, Imbibe to head up to the Adelaide Hills and shoot with Gareth Belton from Gentle Folk Wines and Taras Ochota from Ochota Barrels.
Together, Gareth & Taras had produced a collaborative natural wine; Pinot Noir from a single block in Scary Gully, Forest Range. Both make half and half before they blend the barrels, creating Fathers’ Milk, their family inspired wine.
Only 1164 bottles were made. It is elegant, complex and damn right delicious.
Retailing at $75 a bottle, get your hands on some while you can – I’ve already stocked up.

Do what you do with love.
